This is Carly's underbite the first day at the orthodontist.
She got braces in March.
She wore this expander in the roof of her mouth for 8 months. The first two weeks we had to rotate it every night with a special tool they gave us. We lost it at a hotel, so we had to use a paperclip the last couple times. Sorry about stabbing you in the mouth with the paperclip because it went all the way through the hole.
In December, the day finally came to get her braces off. The orthodontist was so happy with how her jaw and mouth had realigned to change the overbite. We, of course, were happy too.
Thanks Dr. Kutsch!
Next up for braces ... Lucy
