I volunteered to coach Carly's softball team - how hard can it be, I thought. We got rained out of our first 2 practices so we had our first game without a practice. Carly's team is grade 3 & 4 and the coach pitches. The first game I thought went pretty good. The second game was really windy and my pitching wasn't going good. I wasn't loving it anymore. I endured and finished the season. We did have fun and I felt like my girls improved.
Lucy also played on a 5th-6th grade team. Her team won a few games and lost a few games.
