Thanksgiving in the USA

We decided to go south for Thanksgiving this year instead of at Christmas. Jill stayed home because she had her first date with Jake Herman to go to Sadie's Hawkins dance and because she was playing basketball.

All of my family came to Grandpa  Randy's and Grandma Carol's (except Jill).

It was such a fun visit! We ate good food, we laughed and talked, we played outside,  and we shopped.

The men and teenagers went shooting guns on Thanksgiving morning while the women cooked.

We opened presents for the Christmas gift exchange since we were all together. We had sewn quill owns for Lola, Ella, and Capri. Another theme of the year was college sports: BYU vs USU. The gifts were thoughtful and fun.

Then we divided in teams and went on a photo scavenger hunt throughout Idaho Falls.

When we came back we played basketball, capture the flag, and kickball outside. The weather was so unusually warm for Idaho. It was so fun!!

We did take advantage of some Black Friday shopping.

We also journeyed to Logan to visit a few friends.

I enjoyed a few good laughs at lunch with part of the K-1 Crew.

Here is the quote wall from the Waite Thanksgiving!
