Hanna Goes to Utah State University

The time came for Hanna to fly from our nest.
We bought her a car. We loaded it up and headed south to Logan, Utah to take her to attend Utah State University. She moved into Old Farm Apartments, #K-2. I lived in Old Farm 25 years ago in apartment #K-1.

We got her checked in. We bought her some groceries. We walked around campus on a tour of where her classes are. We hauled hay for her horse.

We wished her luck, hugged her and drove away. Never easy. But so excited for the adventures that await.

Our last Sunday together

Grandpa Turns 70

My Dad, Randy Glen Waite, turned 70 on August 28, 2019.

We were in Utah to take Hanna to college so we arranged for everyone to meet in the middle at Maddox Restaurant in Brigham City. We had a delicious meal and enjoyed a quality visit to celebrate my dad.

Bike Ride to Red Rock Canyon

We rode our bikes to Red Rock Canyon in Waterton. The road has been closed since the wildfires a couple years ago. It is uphill and it was windy. But I loved it. My kids did too, they just won't admit it:) It is such a sweet ride back down the road. I would definitely do it again.

Random moments

Austin was getting a haircut. He said he was sitting there looking in the mirror at himself for 25 minutes, and he thought ,"D@#$, I am looking old. I picture myself the same as when I got married."

Carly said that the weather has hormones. It is like riding the roller coaster. Always changing.
