Never a Dull Moment

My kids and husband keep life exciting.

Carly's quotes of the week:
"When you are little, your mom has to do a lot of things for you, like pick your clothes and help you get dressed. Then when you get older, you can do more things for yourself. But then when you get even older you have to do harder things, like pay entry fees."

"We lost our game in intramurals today. It was humiliating."

After we dropped Carly off at school on Tuesday, she called and said it was picture day, and we had forgotten. In fact, Carly was super slow getting ready that day and we only had spent 10 seconds on her pony tail that day. Luckily, her teacher said she could get her picture taken the next day. So the next day we remembered and curled her hair. #youngestchildproblems #momfail

Carly left this note on our bed last night. The door handle to the horse trailer came off today.

Hanna also keeps life exciting. This week Hanna's school had a rodeo activity at the Agridome. First, the local rodeo kids demonstrated their events, so Hanna took Lena and did a goat run. Then all of the kids did events like stick horse pole bending. After school, Hanna was telling me all about it and told  me that she had taken a thermostat of hot chocolate.
