Lucy is 8!

We celebrated Lucy's 8th birthday with her friends by having a FOOT party.

First, they painted with their feet.

Then they gave each other foot massages and painted each other's toe nails.

Eight-year old girls are really fun.
What do eight-year old girls give each other for birthday presents? Some kind of art project and a little treat. Perfect.

Hallie Litchfield, Cammie Card, Taylor Heninger, Ragan Norton, Lucy, Skylie Holland, Carly

Lucy's dinner choice: steak, twice-baked potatoes and fresh pineapple

Lucy's birthday gifts:
Family: scriptures, pajamas, cowgirl belt
Sisters: shirt, horse poster
Grandma & Grandpa Waite: scripture bag
Grandma & Grandpa Nunn: baptism pillow case
Grandpa & Grandma Albiston: money and a baptism necklace
Aunt Diana: a cute stuffed animal (that Lucy loves and named D)
Dixie: Brave movie

 LUCY'S BAPTISM

In the Cardston West Stake, when you want your child to get baptized, you pick a day and ask the ward mission leader to schedule the building for you. Then you plan your own program and have a baptism just for your child.  Although many people suggested it, we declined the offer to get baptized in the creek.  Lots of people here have been baptized in the creek.

Lucy's Baptism Program
Conducting: Brother Ron Jacobs, Ward Mission Leader
Pianist: Tammy Sommerfeldt
Opening Song: When I am Baptized
Opening Prayer: Grandma Carol
Baptism Talk: Jill Nunn
Special Song: Hanna Nunn - If the Savior Stood Beside Me
Baptism performed by Austin Nunn
Holy Ghost Talk: Grandpa Randy
Bishop's Remarks: Bishop Royce Leavitt
Closing Song: I Am a Child of God
Closing Prayer: Aunt Sarah Lee

Friends/Family Attending:

Sarah & Family

Primary Teacher Sister Tillack
Denver & Joy Bevans (Primary President)
Bishop Leavitt

We had brownies, ice cream, 7up and orange pop (that Dixie brought).

We had a wonderful day. Jill and Grandpa gave excellent talks and Hanna did really well with her song.
Now Lucy is officially washed clean and a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints.
We love having her in our family!!!!

Grandpa Randy and Grandma Carol made their voyage from Idaho Falls to be here for the weekend.  It was my Dad's first time and my Mom's second time to see us in Canada.  They lucked out with great weather and traveling conditions.  They came with us to Small Spurs Rodeo in Claresholm on Saturday.  It was so fun to have them come and see our land and our people.
