First, my kids mocked me because we got there early so we could be in the early bird draw (which we didn't even win). We enjoyed breakfast, lunch and lots of treats. We got to pick 4 classes to go to. They gave everyone a bag, a notebook and 2 pens.
First, we went to a hair braiding and hair care class. Hanna got some bling put in her hair (forgot to take a picture.)
Then we went to a healthy eating/healthy body class. They gave us a sample of chocolate made of avocados, dates, and cocoa. Jill and Hanna didn't love it.
Next we went to a chocolate dipping class. Yum!
Last we went to a headband making class.
Austin, Lucy and Carly had a healthy body class by going to ride bikes in the hall at the Agridome. Then they went to a barn building class when they went to help Grandpa Buck build box stalls. And they went to an art class where they colored pictures with Grandma Nunn.
We had a fun day.

Those are cute headbands. I want to learn how to make them.
I don't think I would love avacado and date chocolate either.
What a fun day with the girls!! Everyone is so cute!!
Double, I get ya, I wouldn't like avacado and date chocolate either!!
Fun girls day! Love it! I think it is funny because Lily has that same shirt that Carly is wearing! It has seriously been a year and a half since I have seen any of your family! Craziness!
I noticed the headbands in church yesterday. So cute. Hey, we have the same kitchen plates. And here I thought I was the only one with the corelle ivy plates :)
I am totally behind on blog comments so I am off to read your last post on plagiarism....did you know how to spell that word or did you have to look it up? I copied from you. Hard word.
So darling you are such an example to me, because you are always doing great things with your kids, it makes me want to be more like you when/if I grow up.
Austin looks better with a cowboy hat than a headband, sorry. It was cute however! Glad you got to help with a branding!
I'm proud of Cardston for holding such an event. That's awesome.
I have seen the sign on the side of the road (every time I go back home to Lethbridge ) that has been advertising the mother and daughter day in Cardston and wondered what it would be like and now I know! Looks like it was a really good day. Every class looked fun!
