Rodeo Mom

I am an official rodeo mom. I drove Jill and Hanna to a Small Spurs Rodeo in Claresholm (about an hour north of us). I helped them saddle and unsaddle their horses. I tried to encourage them and help them the best I could. Although they missed their true coach, Austin, we had a good day. Austin was at an all-day scout training (one of his most favorite things in the world). Thanks to Grandma Nunn for keeping Lucy and Carly for the day.

Highlights of the day:
We had great weather and good roads. It was a beautiful day.

Jill placed 4th in goat tying and won her first rodeo paycheck. She also was in barrel racing and pole bending.

Hanna did barrel racing, pole bending and goat tying. She did great but missed having Dad there. When Austin was watching the videos of their runs, he said, "Hanna, your saddle isn't tight enough." That would be my fault.

Way to go Nunn girls!

Kay-dog, I'm sure you are an awesome rodeo mom. I can't believe how much you have learned about the whole rodeo scene since you got married. It makes me feel like a loser that I still haven't even learned how to back up the boat trailer. :)

Ok I watched this twice I am so proud of you Jill, Hanna, and Kaylynn. Seriously there is no way I would be able to do that. Any of it.

Way to go Kaylyn--isn't it amazing what you can do when you have to? Way to go Jill! Great run! Don't be afraid of that little goat--he weighs about as much as Roxy and he won't bite!
