What were we thinking?
September 16 - Catching the bus: FOG
September 17 - Catching the bus: SNOW

People tell us that this is not the usual weather pattern. We are trying to look on the bright side of the weather we have experienced so far:
We have not had to use the word "hot"
I only turned on a sprinkler twice in the 3 months we have been here and our grass is totally green
None of us have had hay fever/allergies (which we usually do in August and September)
Still....... Snow? Not cool.
In other Nunn news, Jill turned 12.
It is crazy to think I have a daughter who is as tall as me who is going to Young Women now.

On her birthday, it was the Leavitt Fall Fair (a.k.a. ward party), so she invited 2 friends to come with us.
First, we went to Mountain View to buy penny candy.
Then we went to the Fall Fair. It was great...hot dogs & corn, cotton candy, ice cream, games, fish pond prizes, etc. It was a great birthday party.

Carly is TOTALLY 2

Carly loves to wear funky clothes and change outfits often. Lately, she will only wear dresses to bed. Before this stage, she wore her swimming suit and life jacket at all times.
She follows me around all day while the kids are at school and talks and talks.
We are happy to report that she is successfully potty trained!! I hope to never buy another box of diapers.
14th ANNIVERSARY
Austin and I celebrated our 14th Anniversary.
First, Buck & Martha took us out to enjoy a steak dinner in Lethbridge a few days before our anniversary (with some gift certificates they got for Christmas - it was nice of us to convince them to finally use them.)
On our anniversary, we rode horses, fixed fence and put in a new floor in Grandma's laundry room. Then Buck & Martha took us all out to Chinese food in Raymond.
Austin did buy me red flowers.
It was great, but we are hoping for a greater celebration next year!!!

SNOW in September?!?!? What is the meaning of that?
I'm glad to know that my girls aren't the only ones who have swimsuit/lifejacket/dress phases.
I would hate for you guys to be hot up there! I think I am safe in saying that Bryan will not be moving up there anytime soon! haha Happy Anniversary and Happy Birthday to Jill. We had it on our calendar and I was sad to think that she isn't coming into "my" young women's but wish her the best in her new ward! Love ya Bon
OH, Snow in Sept, it is depressing for the locals too!! I'm hoping for an Indian Summer, there is always hope, right? Hang tough, maybe we'll get to use the word HOT. I wonder what that word does really mean? Hmmm? Glad to have the Nunns in Canada, inspite of Canada's poor welcome, Keep hoping like the rest of us.
Happy Birthday, and Happy Anniversary to all!!! :)
Not cool is right! The sun will come out...tomorrow:) Happy Anniversary. Aaron will be in Seattle for work on our anniversary day :(
Wow. Snow? Jill is 12?
Rachel and Lucy are looking at this post with me and want to say hi to Hanna and Jill.
P.S. They have never had good pen pals who will actually write back. Any of your girls interested??
Lots to comment on this time around.
Yah, snow and fog and rain....it's really really weird for sure. I almost wish the wind was here because then it would mean warmer temperatures.
The Mountain View Market (aka Barn Store) is the best place for ice-cream too. More bang for the buck!
Watch out for Carly. My daughter Michelle used to always change her clothes and she still will go through 3-4 changes a day and she is 19. They are who they are from the very start. And a 12 year old daughter. She has a great YW group and the presidency could not be any better.
Happy Anniversary! Our celebrations since moving here have lacked as well. I'm not sure about fixing fence and putting in flooring, but the riding sounds fun to me. No couple picture?
Kaylynn, I saw your post on Barbs blog. She found a run in Polson,MT. It is just past Kalispell on the same day.
