Easter

Carly, Hanna, Jill, Lucy modeling their new Easter jewelry.

Last year Austin told me that he was going to be in charge of Easter next year. I reminded him about a month ago and then a week before Easter. Anyway, he ended up at Wal-Mart at midnight on Saturday night. He has been to Wal-Mart at midnight gift shopping before (remember Kaylynn's birthday 2006).

Anyway, we had a great Easter. We colored eggs the night before. The Easter bunny came and hid candy and eggs, and brought the girls necklaces, bracelets and rings. I got a beautiful bouquet of flowers. Austin and I gave the girls a pogo stick. It is harder than they thought it would be.

Hanna helping Jill jump on the pogo stick.

We had delicious food. We read the Easter story from the Easter eggs that Reatha (Malin's Mom) gave to me when I was in college.

Who could forget Kaylynn's birthday 2006? :) I was actually shopping the night before Easter this year too. I went to 5 different stores looking for Starburst jelly beans and Cadbury mini eggs. No luck.

I'll have to tell Reatha that you mentioned her. I'm sure she'll feel famous (after I explain what a blog is). Hee hee.

Looks like a fun Easter and trip. I'm very impressed with Austin wanting to do everything for Easter. The Oriental man comment made me laugh.

What a fun Easter! All the holiday festivities make me wish even more I had some kids of my own to share it with.
