Merry Christmas

After many attempts to go to Temple Square to see the lights, there was finally a break in the snow storms so we met some of my family for a fun time. We went to Clark Planetarium, ate at the Gateway and then went to see the lights on Temple Square. It was on December 23 and there were MANY people who had the same idea, but it was still fun.
DRESSED UP WARM TO SEE THE LIGHTS

WAITE FAMILY ON TEMPLE SQUARE

For Christmas Eve, we had our own nativity program. We started a new tradition that each person gets to open one present, and this year it was slippers or socks, so Austin said that is going to be our tradition, we will all get some type of footwear to open on Christmas Eve. We also opened a game (Horseopoly) and so we declared that opening a game would also be part of our tradition.

All of the girls slept in Jill's bedroom on Christmas Eve. On Christmas morning Hanna came into our room at 4:38 a.m. and told us they were ready. We told her not yet. Jill came in about an hour later. We said not until 6:30 a.m. Christmas morning was very fun. Santa Claus brought Jill a bedspread, Hanna a cupcake maker and a fur real puppy, Lucy a Cinderella Barbie and a princess horse that pulls a princess carriage, and Carly a Little People bus. Christmas day we just hung out, played with all of our new stuff, and ate good food.

Were you typing in tongues? Your post showed up in some weird hieroglyphs on my computer, but I cracked the code.

4:38 is REALLY early. I'm glad that our kids didn't try that. We're pretty firm on the 7 a.m. thing. (Nate says 6, but I'm not on board with that plan).

Horseopoly? I don't know why, but reading that made me laugh out loud.
