Track and Field

Even though we were wearing coats and blankets, Jill and Hanna were successful at their track meets.

Hanna is a really fast runner. I don't know what ancestor she got her running skills from.
Hanna's Day:
1st in 100 meters
1st in 200 meters
1st in Triple Jump
5th in High Jump
1st in 4x100 relay

Hanna's New Track Shoes (She had to clean stalls for a week for her Dad to pay him back for the fancy new track shoes)

Carly is the best cheerleader ever! She is happy if she can have a popsicle.

Baptism of a Nunn in Wyoming

Taycee & McKensie Nunn (daughters of Les & Hollis) turned 8.  We got to go to their baptism in Ranchester, Wyoming.  We went to represent the family since Grandpa and Grandma are on a mission. We were out of the country for 49 hours and drove 1100 miles.

We squeezed a lot of fun into our short visit.  We had a birthday party steak/hot dog roast.  After the baptism we played capture the flag and a roping contest.  Jill and Hanna won.

Random Nunns

Just a catch up of exciting things that have happened...

Hanna has wanted a perm for years. I didn't think she would really love it and I didn't want to pay a lot of money, so we haven't done it.  A few weeks ago we went to a silent auction for a couple girls who were raising money to go to Africa.  Hanna bid on a perm and won it.  Wanda Albiston from our ward came over and gave her a perm.  I have to admit, it turned out so cute!

Carly and Lucy were doing a song with a dance that Lucy had learned in Kindergarten.

Jill's Grade 7 Band

Jill plays the clarinet, but she got to play percussion for two songs in the spring concert.

Hanna's Spring Choir Concert - I love listening to her choir!

 

You can tell how many times we have left the girls home by how many photo shoots are on the camera!
