Austin's hips have been hurting for years - especially when he rides horses. He went to see a doctor before we even moved to Canada, but they said you have bad hips but are pretty young for a hip replacement. So then years later he went to the doctor again in Canada. He got put on a waiting list but in the mean time he got cortizone shots which helped so much. He could tell the day the shots wore off.
Finally it was his turn for hip surgery. Dr. Werle did a hip resurface surgery in Calgary for him. He was only there one night and then he passed the test to climb a couple stairs with is crutch so then he could go home.
One week later Carly had her wisdom teeth. So we had a chart on the cupboard for both patient's medication, and we kept a continual round of ice packs in and out of the freezer.
Then Lucy also wanted to join the fun, and she got her wisdom teeth when she came home for American Thanksgiving.
