Girls Trip to Kalispell

We tried to renew Lucy's passport when we were in America earlier in the year, and the passport lady took the day off. Time passed and it still needed renewed. So we did a quick girls trip to Kalispell. I got an Expedia deal for a good rate at a golf course resort, so we ate, swam, laughed and slept. Hanna did a bit of homework.

Then Saturday we got her passport turned in and did some shopping before we headed back to Cardston.

 

Hanna Competes at the College Rodeo National Finals

Hanna qualified to compete at the College National Finals Rodeo in Casper, Wyoming.

After Lucy's high school graduation, we drove to Wyoming. Jill and Larsen also came to Wyoming to watch Hanna. 

Everyone goes twice in the first couple days of slack, and then everyone goes once in a performance. Her runs weren't quite as fast as she hoped, so she didn't qualify for the short round. It was emotional on the night she competed in the performance knowing that was likely the end of her college rodeo career. Lena and Hanna had an amazing career, and they were both worn down and sore.

James drove over to watch her also. She went to visit James for a couple days before she came back home for the summer.

We have loved the years of watching Hanna and Lena compete.

 

Perkins Came to Canada

We loved having Larsen, Jill & Will here for a few days when they came for Lucy's graduation.

 

Lucy & Her Grad Date

Grad was getting closer and Lucy was hoping someone would ask her to grad. Finally Jimmy Leishman left this poster on her car. Then she answered with a poster and balloons on his car.

It was kind of rainy the afternoon of the grad banquet, so her friends went to Freddy's to take some pictures. Then they went to the grad banquet dinner and the dance at the school. She drove separately to the all night party so she could leave when she wanted. She had a fun date.
