10 Friends Celebrate Barb's Birthday in Kalispell

My friend Barb Salmon is turning 40. So I sent her a text one morning and said we should go on an overnight girls trip to celebrate your 40th birthday. We invited 16 people and 10 of them ended up coming which is a miracle in and of itself.

We took two cars and headed south across the border. We shopped and we talked and we ate and we shopped and we talked. We had so much fun and we learned a lot about each other.

We had cheesecake and stayed up talking till 2 o'clock in the morning to celebrate Barb's birthday.

Carly's 7th Birthday

It is Carly's odd birthday year so she didn't get a friend party, but she made a list of eight families she wanted to come to have birthday cake. We narrowed it down to three families plus grandma and grandpa and Dixie.

We had a fun visit with the Murray's, Matt & Josie Bevans family and the Sommerfeldts . The Dairy Queen ice cream cake was delicious and Carly loved all the attention.

For a long time Carly had asked for her violin for her birthday. I found one for a good price online and ordered it. She was very excited when she opened it!

Carly keeps our family very exciting!!!

We went to rodeos and basketball tournaments.  It was winter!
